The Mindfuck Meme

This is not a very nice meme! If you have any major or typical triggers, you're being warned here that you might want to keep fully clear. That said, ever misread 'midfuck meme' with an extra 'n' in it and been sorely disappointed? This one's for you!

1. Post a character! It'd sure be nice if you put their name, canon, and any prefs you might have in the subject line.
2. When other characters tag in, they'll be using ye olde RNG (1-7) to figure out just how they'll be fucking your character's mind.
3. Be royally screwed up and need therapy for decades.

Mindfuck Possibilities:

1. I Own You: It doesn't have to be sexual (though it can be). It doesn't have to be very abusive (though it might be). But you know you own this person and you will break them down until they can accept the truth of it. All that they are—body, mind, and soul—is yours. They should have known that from the beginning. Now they'll know it 'til the end.

2. We're One and the Same: What this other person doesn't get is that you're two sides of the same coin. You practically own each other! No one else will complete them the way you can. You're twins. Brothers from another mother (or was that the same mother?). They won't get away until they acknowledge that to escape is to deny everything they are. Good thing you're ready to help.

3. Nobody Has Ever Loved You (Like I Do): This person doesn't understand how worthless they are—how they've been abandoned on purpose by anyone they ever cared about. The only thing they have left—the one creature that doesn't despise them utterly—is you. And maybe you're about fed up as well and they should grovel at your feet.

4. By Your Bedside (YANDERE): You love them. You love them utterly and how have they betrayed you? Ruthlessly! Talking to others—looking at others. Disgusting. You aren't going to allow it anymore. They need to understand the importance of your love. What's that? Maybe you aren't in a relationship by any… real, official standards? Heh. That can be fixed!

5. You're a Doll, Doll: Some people just don't get it. They think they have rights the same as anyone else. They don't see how they're only a puppet or a pet. Something less than you—less than anything. They belong on a leash or sitting pretty on a shelf. Poor darling! Lucky for them you've taken an interest in setting them straight (or… really gay).

6. Stop Forcing My Hand: It's not your fault you're tying them down! It isn't your fault they need your initials engraved in their skin! They made you. They stared at you with those eyes or they did those awful things (awful being rather subjective)! You wish they could apologize enough for such atrocities. You'd love to let them go. You don't want to do this even if it's possibly getting you off to an excessive extent! You're the victim, all right? Fucker should learn to shut up when they're told to.

7. Creepozoid's Choice!: Pick any of the options above or a 7th sort of mindfuck not explicitly listed. Remember, 7 is always an open option if you'd rather not roll or if you want to mix any series of numbers together.

[ His eyes widen in horror. She wouldn't really. He wants to think she really wouldn't kill him or dismember him. He quickly begins another spell. He doesn't care that much if he hurts her if it means she won't kill him. ]

[blastiafreak]

[She knows he doesn't actually want to do against her--she's his friend. So she's making sure he doesn't do anything he'll regret later.

Rita rushes at him with the knife, intending to plunge it right into his left hand to interrupt his spell - if she can move quicker than he can chant.]

[stargathering]

[ He's not going to be casting anything strong. He's hesitant, though: This spell could set the whole room on fire.

He didn't have much choice, though. It's this or--

Tyr lets out a scream as the blade penetrates his hand. A new set of tears fall from his eyes, and he glares up at her. His unsteady breath is now laboured, but he still yells at her. ]

You witch!!

[blastiafreak]

You shut your mouth! Or else-

[She gives the blade a vicious twist. Why is he resisting her help?!]

[stargathering]

[ Which makes him do quite the opposite as he cries out in pain. He can feel it moving his bones when she twists it. In a shaky, pained voice: ] Rita...!

[blastiafreak]

[She holds the blade steady for a moment, narrowing her eyes as she considers whether he needs more punishment. Then she withdraws her hand--but leaves the knife where it is, skewering his hand.

After a sigh, Rita regains some of her composure.] Didn't I tell you not to act like an idiot? This is your own fault.

[stargathering]

[ He doesn't say anything, simply biting his lips to calm down the pain. He wants to vomit more than ever, and if he looks at his left hand, he's sure the sight will make him.

Tyr sits there. When he thinks of this, it really is his fault. He asked for her help, he let himself be weakened by the blastia, he ate the sedative, and he was stupid enough to think attacking Rita now was a good idea. ]

[blastiafreak]

[That's more like it. Rita approves of his silence and grasps the knife's handle again to slowly withdraw the blade from his bloody and mangled flesh.]

I doubt you can use that again, but make sure you behave from now on. I don't want to have to hurt you too badly.

[stargathering]

[ But she does want to hurt him even a little? He glares up at her, but it's hard to look tough when you're biting your lips closed and your eyes and cheeks are damp and pale. He doubts he can use his hand at all now. ]

[blastiafreak]

[Hard to look tough indeed. Rita takes pity on him instead and offers an almost amused and sympathetic smile, like she didn't just maim him.]

You just had to be so stubborn...I'll go look for some bandages or something, all right?

[stargathering]

[ He would spit at her if he didn't worry about that knife returning to his hand. He finally stops biting his lip to answer. ]

Just don't stab me again...

[blastiafreak]

I'm not making any promises, but as long as you don't push me like that again, I won't have any reason to do it.

[Well, unless she decides to forcefully remove the Soul Eater, anyway. But for now, Rita leaves him alone while she searches out some medical supplies.]

[stargathering]

[ Witch witch witch witch. He knows her words aren't any bluff now, and goes along with his better judgement which tells him to keep his mouth shut and stare forward.

Still, he wonders what her real aim is since 'helping me' is out of the window. ]

[blastiafreak]

[Rita's convinced herself that she's still helping him. It was always her goal...even if somewhere along the way, exactly what that "help" entailed became a little lost. And there's the Soul Eater itself, by which she can't help but be intrigued.

Eventually, she returns with some bandages as well as alcohol. She begins pouring the alcohol over his wound in order to disinfect it, and dabs at it lightly with a cloth. It's not something she's very good at doing, but she manages to be almost gentle.

In the meantime, she decides to ask Tyr more.] So tell me more about your rune. How exactly did it become attached to you?

[stargathering]

[ He hisses in pain as the alcohol enters the wound. Nevertheless, he liked having the wound treated. ...He hopes it's being treated, at least. It burns like alcohol, but with how she's been treating him...

He takes a deep breath before he answers her. Unlike usually, though, he lies to her. He doesn't want her to think he can simply give it to her. ] I inherited it. It's a part of the bearer until death.

[blastiafreak]

Really? [She doesn't remember him mentioning that before, but thinks it makes sense. It might explain why he never said he wanted it removed.

Rita tosses away the blood-soaked cloth and continues cleaning with a fresh one, all while she keeps asking.] So you've never tried to take it off?

[stargathering]

[ His eyes flicker over at the sound of the damp cloth hitting the floor - and immediately looks away again. ]

It's not like a common rune like the one you just maimed. It's part of my body; it can't be removed.

[blastiafreak]

You say that like it's impossible to remove a body part.

[And tossing away that cloth with another damp splat. There's a scrape of metal as she takes some scissors from her pile of tools.]

[stargathering]

[ His stomach churns. Those sounds are disgusting.

Against what he told himself, he snaps at her. ] You can't remove my hand! You already destroyed one!

[blastiafreak]

[With a snip, the scissors slice...through some bandages. Rita starts winding the cut length around Tyr's hand and sighs a little too calmly.]

Don't tell me you've never considered the possibility. Besides, it's not my fault your hand's useless.

[stargathering]

[ He's glad it's being bandaged. It's a great feeling compared to everything else he's feeling. He manages to not shout, but his voice is not calm. ]

You stabbed me and twisted the knife, Rita. I didn't do that; you chose to do that.

Besides, if I lost the rune, it would simple attach to someone new.

[blastiafreak]

[And Rita considers it a great sign of her patience that she doesn't yank that bandage painfully tight.]

I did what I had to do. All that only happened because of you.

[That answer piques her curiosity again.] Really? Does it only attach to humans?

[stargathering]

[ He still gives a little grunt when she finishes it off, though. He's weak and in pain; he doesn't need more. The way she shoves the blame on him just proves to him she can't really care about him in the slightest. If he thought he could call her on it without risking losing another body part, he'd do it.

The fact she's more curious than anything is disgusting to him. ] ... That's right. It only choose to attach to human bearers...

[blastiafreak]

[She finishes tying the bandage, a little sloppily, and leaves the medical supplies nearby. At the rate he was bleeding, she'll probably have to change that bandage again...What a pain.

Her curiosity doesn't go away, either, as she stands next to him and considers.] Hmm...I wonder if there's any way to test how it recognizes a human.

[stargathering]

It's not an object; it's a True Rune. It recognises more than just the obvious.

[ He can't believe he's even admitting the true aspects of the rune to her. The reason only reason he knows those details is a painful memory, but he doesn't want to see her try anything stupid.

And yes, he can already feel the blood matting the bandages around his hand. ]
