[ The feed opens with a beautiful close-up of Mukumuku's eye staring into the camera. He sniffs at it curiously before, after a moment, the flying squirrel loses interest and abandons the device, leaving it to record everhoping and Tyr. ]

[ Tyr stares at Riou, his staff drawn and body tense, he holds a defensive stance. ]

[ Riou's eyes are fixed on Tyr's form. He twirls his tonfas in both hands, testing his grip and practicing with them, before settling into his own stance. ]

[ Their gazes remain on each each other for a few more beats as Tyr considers his first move, evaluating Riou's stance.

Then, with just a spin of his staff as a warning, Tyr springs forward to attack. ]

[ There's a very slight delay to Riou's reaction, but one that doesn't affect him as he runs forward and blocks Tyr's staff with his left tonfa. He uses force against Tyr's staff then, pushing it to the side with his left arm while he twirls the tonfa in his right hand and tries to get an attack in. ]

[ When their weapons connect and his blow is deflected, Tyr expects Riou to try to get another attack in and jumps back. Despite neither of their attacks landing, it takes Tyr a second still to regain himself and a proper hold on his weapon. ]

[ Riou's footing slips up a bit, but with Tyr jumping back, Riou doesn't waste any time to take the initiative. Using his left leg, he launches himself forward and twirls his tonfa for an opening attack with his right arm before finishing it with an elbow jab. ]

[ And that is not what Tyr was expecting. Tyr raises his staff to block the first attack, but the jab connects with Tyr's side. Grunting Riou's name, Tyr doesn't hesitate to try to kick and sweep Riou's legs from beneath him. ]

[ The leg sweep sends Riou crashing on the ground and on his back with a sharp cry, but he doesn't stop yet. In one swift movement, he turns on the ground and pushes himself upwards with his right hand, his left hand lashing in a sweeping action to keep Tyr away. And then he was on his feet again, assuming a different stance while staring intently at Tyr. ]

[ Tyr doesn't take any moves to attack Riou when he's down, even stepping back a little to let Riou pull himself up again. His face is impassive as he readjusts his hold on his staff, not taking his eyes off his friend.

He lets them both catch their breath and settle into their stances. ] Are you ready to actually start now?

[ Riou smiles, flexes his legs a bit, and then nods at Tyr. ]

Mm. Please don't hold back.

[ He twirls his tonfas again and then goes into another stance. The smile is gone, and Riou matches Tyr's serious expression with his own. ]

[ Nevertheless, that makes Tyr smirk. ] You want to put your flowing rune to use already, huh...

[ Tyr rolls on the balls of his feet as he tries to decide just how little he should hold back before he suddenly lunges forward, staff raised above his head—

[ And Mukumuku decides to take interest in Tyr's device again by walking over it a few times and planting himself on top of the camera, closing the feed. ]
