By midday, the sun was high and bright in the sky. It made the garden almost unbearably warm, but the shade of the trees made the at least some parts comfortable. Underneath one tree, one that still had some lingering, white blossoms, a table and three chairs had been set up.
It was the way Jillia liked it. Sitting at the table with a pitcher of ice tea, she could enjoy the warm weather and all the bright colours of her garden. As well as comfortably watch Pilika play while she waited for their guest. The servants were running late with their snack, but it didn't really need to be their until he was.
She just had to wait patiently for both of them.

Maybe it was because he always had a sleepy look about him, but Caesar looked no different than he did the day he promised to meet with her again. It took a moment for him to spot Jillia, but it was only because he was also amazed by the colors of her garden. It seemed more beautiful every time he came here, even if he'd already seen it a number of times before.
Finally catching sight of her, he offered her a smile.
"Hey."

Raising from her seat, she took the extra glass and silently poured some tea for him. "Have you ever had ice tea before, Caesar?

Bet it couldn't compare to yours, though." Which was kind of his way of saying that she had good taste, even though he wasn't a big fan of all this fancy stuff most of the time.
