The Mindfuck Meme

This is not a very nice meme! If you have any major or typical triggers, you're being warned here that you might want to keep fully clear. That said, ever misread 'midfuck meme' with an extra 'n' in it and been sorely disappointed? This one's for you!

1. Post a character! It'd sure be nice if you put their name, canon, and any prefs you might have in the subject line.
2. When other characters tag in, they'll be using ye olde RNG (1-7) to figure out just how they'll be fucking your character's mind.
3. Be royally screwed up and need therapy for decades.

Mindfuck Possibilities:

1. I Own You: It doesn't have to be sexual (though it can be). It doesn't have to be very abusive (though it might be). But you know you own this person and you will break them down until they can accept the truth of it. All that they are—body, mind, and soul—is yours. They should have known that from the beginning. Now they'll know it 'til the end.

2. We're One and the Same: What this other person doesn't get is that you're two sides of the same coin. You practically own each other! No one else will complete them the way you can. You're twins. Brothers from another mother (or was that the same mother?). They won't get away until they acknowledge that to escape is to deny everything they are. Good thing you're ready to help.

3. Nobody Has Ever Loved You (Like I Do): This person doesn't understand how worthless they are—how they've been abandoned on purpose by anyone they ever cared about. The only thing they have left—the one creature that doesn't despise them utterly—is you. And maybe you're about fed up as well and they should grovel at your feet.

4. By Your Bedside ~~(YANDERE)~~: You love them. You love them utterly and how have they betrayed you? Ruthlessly! Talking to others—looking at others. Disgusting. You aren't going to allow it anymore. They need to understand the importance of your love. What's that? Maybe you aren't in a relationship by any… real, official standards? Heh. That can be fixed!

5. You're a Doll, Doll: Some people just don't get it. They think they have rights the same as anyone else. They don't see how they're only a puppet or a pet. Something less than you—less than anything. They belong on a leash or sitting pretty on a shelf. Poor darling! Lucky for them you've taken an interest in setting them straight (or… really gay).

6. Stop Forcing My Hand: It's not your fault you're tying them down! It isn't your fault they need your initials engraved in their skin! They made you. They stared at you with those eyes or they did those awful things (awful being rather subjective)! You wish they could apologize enough for such atrocities. You'd love to let them go. You don't want to do this even if it's possibly getting you off to an excessive extent! You're the victim, all right? Fucker should learn to shut up when they're told to.

7. Creepozoid's Choice!: Pick any of the options above or a 7th sort of mindfuck not explicitly listed. Remember, 7 is always an open option if you'd rather not roll or if you want to mix any series of numbers together.

[She won't deny that it could kill him. Rita's fully aware that it's a possible risk, just one she isn't wholly concerned about.] It could kill you at any time, but the risk is pretty small. I don't think it'll come to that. Besides, I would've made adjustments so it wouldn't absorb too much of your life.

It's still a possibility... [ "Pretty small" didn't even register for him. he focused on the part where she said it could kill him at any time. ] I thought the point of helping me was so no-one would have to die.

And I thought you would've had enough brains to know you'd need to take a little risk. You're not seriously that naïve, are you?

This isn't a risk I'm willing to take... [ He says nothing about being naïve. Maybe he still was after all this time. ] Why are you willing to?

Hmph. You're sure picky about it, you know. Are there any risks you're willing to take? [Disapproval of his attitude is creeping up on her again. To Rita, going this far should've been expected.] I'm willing to do it because unlike you, I don't give up that easily.

You're willing to do it because it's not your body you're abusing. [ He hisses, forgetting his act for a second, but he tries to pick it back up. ] I'm not picky. I just don't want to die myself because of this Rune...

I'm not the one with a soul-sucking parasite stuck to my hand, either. [She snaps right back, then sighs and finally moves to adjust the blastia.] I told you, it's unlikely, so stop thinking you're going to die.

[ He breathes a small sigh of relief when she starts adjusting the blastia. Swallowing a lump in his throat, he admits: ]

I feel like I'm going to die now, though...

[ He'd rather have the "parasite" than die a painful death. ]

[A quick play of her hands on the blastia's control panel, and the adjustments are soon finished. Rita sighs and shrugs.]

I've lowered the input, so you can stop complaining.

[ He feels a bit better when the input his decreased. ]

Thanks...

[ He waits just a moment before asking: ] What are you going to do now?

[Rita looks him over a moment as she decides what course of action to take.]

Hm...I guess I'm done collecting data from you for now, so maybe I'll study what I have before we do more testing.

[She still has untested theories, but it seems pointless to try them until she's looked at the new data, after all. As of yet, though, Rita makes no indication that she'll release Tyr from the chair.]

[ That doesn't keep him from being hopeful. She doesn't need him restrained to study. ]

Will you let me-- [ go? No, she wouldn't allow that. She might be more protective if he said that. ] --stand up while you do that? I won't go anywhere.

[She raises a skeptic eyebrow, although she doesn't find the request too suspicious.]

What do you need to stand up for? If you're not going anywhere, you might as well just stay where you are.

My joints are getting stiff. [ Which was true, though not his main concern. ] Being able to stretch and move around would be enough.

You complain about everything, you know. [She sighs and grumbles a bit, but considers it seriously. She doesn't really need him to stay strapped there while she's not working, although he might try something again...

After some thinking, she finally nods.] All right, I guess. Just don't act like an idiot again.

[Rita fiddles with the blastia again for a moment, and then her hands move to release his restraints.] I've set up some protection on the blastia for your own good. If you try to take it off or leave this place, it'll automatically activate--at maximum power. You get it, right?

[ He nods. ] I understand... I know better than to do anything stupid now.

[ He wonders if it's really possible for her to do that, but he doesn't want to try it out. He definitely won't get far if the blastia is set at its maximum power.

She didn't say anything about it ensuring he couldn't attack her. His hands might be useless (might - he'll have to try when they're free), but he doesn't need them to take her down.

He hoped she couldn't read his mind. ]

Hmph...I wonder. [She can't keep some sarcasm out of her voice, but she goes ahead and releases his bonds. A telepath Rita is most certainly not, and she's convinced that her threats should keep him in line for the most part.

[ And he's very glad to have himself released. His legs push himself up to avoid putting any strain on his hands. He looks over at her as if he's not thinking of breaking her nose. ]

You wonder what?

[ He stretches his sore arms over his head, turning his wrists a little. He doesn't take a step past the chair, though. His legs and head aren't ready for that yet. ]

[She makes a dismissive wave of her hand as she steps back and watches with vague interest.]

If you really know better.

[And now that she thinks about it, extra precautions might've been a better idea. Like setting the blastia on a timer to activate in case something happens to her. Whatever, she tells herself; it's not like he can do anything to her, right?]

[ Heh. ] Of course I do... Besides, if you make him take any more of my energy...

[ He trails off, letting her make the obvious assumption. His arms are still in working order, whether his hands feel disgusting or not. As for if they work or not... He grimaces as he tries to flex the fingers of his left hand. No, that's definitely not going to work... ]

At the very least, it'd leave you in a coma for a few days. [If he was just unconscious, she could study his rune without protest, so it's no loss to her. As long as he woke up eventually...

There's almost a smug look on her face as she watches him try to move his left hand. It's an expression that says 'I told you so'.]

[ That brings a dirty look to Tyr's face, but he tries to get rid of it quickly. He has to be calm. He'd show her a coma for a few days... He assumes the worst it could do is kill him. ]

Yeah... I don't want that.

[ Despite how blood it is, though, his right hand certainly doesn't seem broken. Wielding his staff is definitely out of the question, though. ]

[She catches his look and, although she doesn't do anything about it just yet, her voice takes on a threatening tone again.]

So don't snap and do something crazy, all right? I'd rather perform the tests with you awake.

[ He meets her eyes, taking that threat. His voice is perfectly even. ]

I won't. I want to be conscious as much as you want me to.

Besides, I understand why you're doing this now.

Are you saying it finally got through to you?

[Her suspicion's getting aroused now, though. Rita starts stepping over to a desk of tools, keeping her eyes levelled on him the entire time.]
