He gasps out for long minutes with shaky breaths. He mumbles out 'No' a few times, not finding the strength to tell her it would still find someone - he was sure walls wouldn't restrain it.
But he's much more worried about it attaching to Rita. Not because of the curse he would usually fear, but because of what she would do with it in her current mental state. ]
